The Khetri Trust launched a scholarship program in 2012-13 based on the vision of its founder, Raja Bahadur Sardar Singh, “The promotion of education, that is to say the advancement of the study of science, literature and the arts, by the grant of scholarships to deserving students for study in India or abroad, by the establishment of libraries, reading rooms, schools, academies, laboratories, research centers or other institutions, as funds allow and as the Trustees think fitâ€..
The Khetri Trust thus aims to promote education, through the advancement of the study of science, literature and the arts, by the grant of scholarships to disadvantaged children and youth. These scholarships would be provided to encourage children and youth to gain better access to education, to have quality education and eventually better career opportunities.
The Khetri Trust Children Scholarship (2017-18) aims to provide grant support to individuals who are disadvantaged and vulnerable in the society, including but not limited to, children that are differentially abled, children without parents or single parent, children from weaker sections of society and children without adequate financial support to access good education.
